I cannot say enough good things about Illustrated Beauty, and how happy I am that I chose to receive my make artistry certification there. As a former student of Jenny’s, I first handedly know how passionate she is about the industry. She provided me with guidance, confidence, and the tools to be a successful artist. Jenny provided students with an amazing makeup kit to begin with. I thought this was awesome because starting your kit is expensive and a huge investment.

I am looking forward to taking more classes with Jenny. Her course has truly given me the foundation to perfect, and continue to build my skills as an artist in the industry.

Taking the make-up certification class with Jenny was awesome. I had no experience with doing make up on other people and was nervous to even try. Jenny made me feel at ease and took the time to explain everything to me. She made sure I was confident in myself and my ability to do makeup. I highly recommend taking a class with her!

I took the 6 hour M.A.C.Course with Jenny Jacome at Illustrated beauty roughly about a year ago and I absolutely loved the course. Jenny herself is an amazing makeup artist so I was more than happy to learn from her. The course is a bit short I could have used at least one more day to sharpen the skills taught at the beginning of it, but over all I was very pleased. The kit we are provided with is beautiful and really gave me a nice foundation to my personal kit. The education was great Jenny is very patient and informative and really motivated me to keep going with my education as a makeup artist. She teaches the course at illustrated beauty after hours which was great because you really get one on one time with her to walk you through anything you’re unsure of. Overall the course is great, afterwards, I saw a mass improvement in my work as a MUA and am more than happy to recommend this course to anyone interested.

I took Jenny’s makeup certification class back in April 2014 after I had just graduated beauty school, in order to take my love for makeup to the next level.

Since elementary school I have struggled with a learning disorder so I a little nervous that I wouldn’t get everything out of this class as the other students. What I received was more than I had hoped for!

To start, an entire bh cosmetics kit, which I had never heard of at the time and is now one of my favorite makeup lines. I love how pigmented the eye shadows are and creamy the lip glosses are. Step by step on the do’s and dont’s of contouring, how to apply the makeup using specific brushes, and which makeup and how to use it for special events. She even furthered this to the point of how to apply makeup to different face shapes and how to make their best features stand out.

Jenny is so patient and kind and she’s a lot of fun too which makes for the absolute best learning environment. Years later she is still a friend to me she really cares about her students and is passionate about what she does.
